Which Wig Should You Buy?

Sixteen units, and the honest answer is that four decisions get you to the right one: cap type, texture, length and density. This page does that in order. If you would rather read the reasoning first, start with the size and density guide.

Start here: what are you actually choosing between

Cap type decides how hard it is to put on. Glueless units ship with the lace pre-cut and go on in minutes with a band and combs. Closures (4x4, 5x5) have a small lace panel and a fixed middle part. Frontals (13x4, 13x6) give you the whole front to part anywhere, and most people glue them. A U-part has no lace at all. Full comparison.

Texture decides maintenance. Straight is sleekest and least forgiving at the lace edge. Body wave is the most versatile. Deep and water wave hold their pattern hardest. Kinky curly reads most like natural hair and shrinks the most. Texture guide.

Length runs short on textured hair. Measured stretched. Body wave loses about an inch, water wave about two, kinky curly four to five. Shrinkage chart — order up.

Density decides how much hair. 150% natural, 180% standard, 200% maximum volume. Density guide.

Every unit, compared

Ordered by starting price. Every price is the lowest length and density; longer and denser costs more.

If you are in one of these situations

You have never worn a wig

Zuri. Glueless, pre-cut 4x6 lace, elastic band and four combs. No adhesive, no scissors, and the deep wave hides the closure edge while you are still learning to lay one. If you want it shorter and even lower-maintenance, Nia is the bob version of the same idea.

You want the cheapest way in

Tiana. From $94. A pixie is the least hair on a cap, which is why it is the cheapest human hair unit we sell, and the crop holds its own shape so there is nothing to style. Maya is the next step up and has no lace anywhere.

You want one wig that does everything

Aria. Body wave on a 13x4 frontal is the most versatile combination in the catalogue — it straightens, it reverts, and four inches of parting depth covers every everyday style. Six lengths, three densities.

You want to part it deeply, or wear it back off the face

Nova. Six inches of parting depth rather than four. That is the only thing a 13x6 buys you, and it is the difference between a middle part and a genuine deep side part. Amara is the same cap in water wave.

You want colour without touching bleach

Noor. 99J burgundy, coloured at the factory on hair that could take it. Ruby gives you blonde dimension on a dark base, and Selene is already lifted to platinum if you want to tone it yourself.

You want it to last, and you are not price-led

Eden. Raw single-donor Vietnamese hair. Roughly double the price of a processed unit and roughly triple the life — three years and up against twelve to eighteen months. Per wear it is the cheapest hair on the site.
