Raw means unprocessed: not steam-treated into a texture, not colour-stripped, not blended from four heads. Eden is single-donor Vietnamese hair with its cuticle intact and aligned in one direction, which is the reason it does not tangle at the nape the way processed hair does after month three.

Who this wig is for

For the buyer who is done replacing units every season. Raw hair costs roughly double up front and lasts three years or more with correct care, which makes it cheaper per wear than anything else on this site. It also takes colour cleanly, so a colourist can custom-tone it.

Styling and heat

Naturally straight with a slight body — it will not be poker-flat without a flat iron, and that is a sign it is raw. Wash with sulphate-free shampoo, air dry, and store on a mannequin head. Treated properly it outlasts three processed units.

How to install Eden

  1. Put on a wig cap and cut the lace, leaving about 1mm past the hairline.
  2. Cleanse your hairline, apply a thin layer of adhesive, and let it turn tacky.
  3. Lay the lace down, press with a damp cloth, and secure with an elastic band for 15 minutes.
  4. Lay your baby hair, part the unit, and style.

Care

  • Wash every 8–10 wears with a sulphate-free shampoo, in cool water, in one direction.
  • Condition the mid-lengths and ends only — never the knots at the lace.
  • Air dry on a wig stand. Heat drying at the cap loosens the knots and causes shedding.
  • Sleep in a satin bonnet or on a satin pillowcase.
  • Store on a mannequin head, not folded in a drawer.

Shipping and returns

Free worldwide shipping on orders over $150. Dispatched within 1–2 business days; 3–5 business days to the US, UK, Canada and Australia, 5–10 days elsewhere. 30-day returns on uninstalled units in their original packaging — if the lace is not what we promised, we refund it in full.

Questions people ask before buying this one

Does it wear shorter than the length I order?

Raw hair has a slight natural body, so it wears roughly an inch shorter than labelled until you flat-iron it. That body is the tell that it has not been steam-processed.

What density should I choose?

180% unless you have a reason. 150% is genuinely natural and light — the right call if you have fine hair yourself or want the unit to pass unnoticed. 180% is our default and the safe answer. 200% is maximum volume, and worth it for long lengths and bleached hair, which always reads thinner than it is.

Will it fit my head?

Almost certainly. The cap is an average 22–22.5" and the straps take it from 21" to 23", which covers the large majority of adults. Measure once to be sure: a tape around your head, just above the ears and across the middle of the forehead, then round the widest part of the back. That single number is your cap size. If you land outside 21–23", email us before you order rather than after.

Do I need glue to install it?

Your choice. A 13x4 frontal covers ear to ear, so most people glue it for a flush hairline. It will also wear glueless on the band and combs if you keep the parting central and lay your own edges over the lace. The lace ships uncut — trim it against your hairline before the first wear, leaving an eighth of an inch.

Can I dye or bleach it?

Yes — this is the unit that colours best. Raw single-donor hair with an intact cuticle takes dye evenly and survives lifting far better than processed hair. It is the reason colourists ask what kind of hair a unit is before they quote you.

How long will it last?

Three years or more with ordinary care. Raw single-donor hair with an intact cuticle outlasts processed hair by roughly triple, which is the entire argument for paying double for it.

Before you order

  • Dispatch: 1–2 business days. Orders placed after 2pm Friday (AWST) go out Monday. Australian orders are quoted 3–5 business days standard, 1–2 express, at checkout.
  • Shipping is free on this unit. Every length and density here is over the $150 threshold, so standard delivery costs you nothing.
  • 30 days to change your mind — uninstalled, lace uncut, unwashed. Cut the lace and it cannot come back, so check the fit and the colour before you trim.
  • Raw hair is limited by the donor, not by us. A raw unit is single-donor: the lengths and quantities that exist are whatever that one person grew. When a length sells out it is not restocked identically — the next batch is a different donor, with a slightly different natural texture and tone. If you have found the length you want, that is the argument for ordering it now rather than later.

Not sure on length or density? The size and density guide and the shrinkage chart answer both in about two minutes, and getting those right is what stops a return.
