Length
Density

A tight coil pattern that behaves like natural 4B/4C hair — it shrinks, it drinks product, and it looks like it grew out of your head. Jada is on a 4x4 closure on purpose: with a curl this dense, more lace is more to hide, and four by four is all you need for a clean middle part.

Who this wig is for

For the most natural look in the range, and for wearers who want a unit that matches their own texture rather than contrasting with it. Expect meaningful shrinkage — a 20" wears closer to 15" unstretched.

Styling and heat

Define with a curl cream and a denman brush while soaking wet, then leave it alone. Stretch overnight in twists if you want length. Deep condition weekly — coily human hair goes dry faster than any other texture we sell.

How to install Jada

  1. Put on a wig cap and cut the lace, leaving about 1mm past the hairline.
  2. Cleanse your hairline, apply a thin layer of adhesive, and let it turn tacky.
  3. Lay the lace down, press with a damp cloth, and secure with an elastic band for 15 minutes.
  4. Lay your baby hair, part the unit, and style.

Care

  • Wash every 8–10 wears with a sulphate-free shampoo, in cool water, in one direction.
  • Condition the mid-lengths and ends only — never the knots at the lace.
  • Air dry on a wig stand. Heat drying at the cap loosens the knots and causes shedding.
  • Sleep in a satin bonnet or on a satin pillowcase.
  • Store on a mannequin head, not folded in a drawer.

Shipping and returns

Free worldwide shipping on orders over $150. Dispatched within 1–2 business days; 3–5 business days to the US, UK, Canada and Australia, 5–10 days elsewhere. 30-day returns on uninstalled units in their original packaging — if the lace is not what we promised, we refund it in full.

Questions people ask before buying this one

Does it wear shorter than the length I order?

This is the big one. A tight coil pattern can wear four to five inches shorter than the stretched measurement — that is normal for the texture, not a short unit. Buy up two lengths if you want visible length.

What density should I choose?

180% unless you have a reason. 150% is genuinely natural and light — the right call if you have fine hair yourself or want the unit to pass unnoticed. 180% is our default and the safe answer. 200% is maximum volume, and worth it for long lengths and bleached hair, which always reads thinner than it is.

Will it fit my head?

Almost certainly. The cap is an average 22–22.5" and the straps take it from 21" to 23", which covers the large majority of adults. Measure once to be sure: a tape around your head, just above the ears and across the middle of the forehead, then round the widest part of the back. That single number is your cap size. If you land outside 21–23", email us before you order rather than after.

Do I need glue to install it?

Optional. Four inches of lace is small enough to hold with the band and combs alone if you wear your edges down over the join. If you want it flush, a thin line of adhesive along the front is enough — you do not need to glue the whole perimeter.

Can I dye or bleach it?

Darker, yes. Lighter, take it to a colourist. Natural black human hair takes any darker shade at home without drama. Lifting it to brown or blonde means bleach, and bleach on a wig is a one-shot job — a colourist who works on units will get there without frying the ends.

How long will it last?

Twelve to eighteen months of regular wear. Textured units live or die by how they are washed — cold water, downward strokes, air dry, never brush it dry. Heat is what turns a defined curl into frizz permanently.

Before you order

  • Dispatch: 1–2 business days. Orders placed after 2pm Friday (AWST) go out Monday. Australian orders are quoted 3–5 business days standard, 1–2 express, at checkout.
  • Free standard shipping over $150. This unit starts at $149, so the shorter lengths sit under the threshold — the longer ones clear it.
  • 30 days to change your mind — uninstalled, lace uncut, unwashed. Cut the lace and it cannot come back, so check the fit and the colour before you trim.

Not sure on length or density? The size and density guide and the shrinkage chart answer both in about two minutes, and getting those right is what stops a return.
